To celebrate Cannes Film Festival 2012, HiBROW is proud to present Winging It, a moving valediction to the late great Ken Russell whose film Mahler and his contribution to Aria were both nominated for the Palme D’Or. 'Uncle' Ken joined HiBROW in Liverpool to film the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s performances of Mahler’s 4th and 5th Symphonies. This short film - the last known footage of Ken working - charts his time in Liverpool meeting the orchestra's brilliant young conductor, Vasily Petrenko, and reminiscing with his friend and colleague, HiBROW founder, film director Don Boyd.
Time Out film editor and HiBROW curator, Dave Calhoun, spoke to a dozen of best selling authors at World Book Night 2012. All of these intimate interviews are now available for you to enjoy - simply browse the Featured Videos below.
